On a day where the election result left the whole nation wondering, another story also made the news. Hepburn Wind was profiled on ABC TV's Inside Business as an model for socially responsible investment in community enterprises.

The members of Hepburn Wind – a cooperative venture - should all be very proud of the project's achievements and the leading role it is playing in creating a space for viable, community renewable energy projects in Australia.

As our profile grows, so does our membership - we now have over 1,300 members who together have contributed over $8.2m and we are delighted to be close to our capital target.
